Wells RNLI assist fishing vessel in distress

At 4am on 12th January 2012, the RNLI all weather lifeboat Doris M Mann of Ampthill was called to assist the fishing vessel Boy Neil LN126 which suffered gear box failure approximately 2 1/2 miles NE of the Harbour.
The wind farm vessel Zephyr stood by the distressed fishing vessel until the lifeboat arrived. It was successfully towed back into the harbour by the RNLI
