Following the successful completion of the Tenancy at Will between the NNDC and the Trustees of the Wells & District Inshore Fishermen’s Association (WDIFA), the Shellfish Handling Facility on Favor Parker Quay is now in operation.

The Tenancy at Will between the NNDC and the WDIFA is an interim agreement until such time as the NNDC transfer the land to Wells Harbour Commissioners (WHC) and a lease between WHC and WDIFA can be put in place.

Planning permission for the new diesel bowser to support the site has now been granted.
