The Wash and the North Norfolk Coast is designated a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Wells Harbour Commissioners are a Relevant Authority in the Wash and North Norfolk Coast SAC. The protection of this sensitive marine environment is a priority.
When visiting the Harbour, please help us to protect this area of outstanding beauty by observing the following guidelines...
- Observe marine toilet rules
- Mop up fuel spills
- Watch your wake and observe speed limits
- Use biodegradable cleaning agents
- Boat users should dispose of rubbish in the bulk bins on the quayside
- Other users please use the litter bins provided... they don't bite
- Do not disturb feeding and roosting birds
